Is it just us, or does PETA seem to be doing a lot of Keeping Up With The Kardashians when they could be…well, protecting animals?! After gaining some media attention with the infamous flour-bombing incident, that ended up costing them one Khloe Kardashian Odom as a spokesperson, the animal rights group continues to target E! reality star Kim Kardashian for her fashion choices. But are they unfairly treating her…and should we be doing something about it?
Okay, so maybe Kim Kardashian isn’t in need of an organization to support her. We’re already giving her millions of our hard-earned dollars a day, so she’s probably fine.
But after seeing that animal rights group, PETA is on her back (and in her closet) AGAIN, we’re starting to wonder if they should be giving Kim some money, too. Besides, she seems to be helping out their cause quite a bit!
As if the failed flour-bombing incident and the giant billboard in Beverly Hills weren’t enough, the group is now complaining about a pair of python skin boots that Kardashian was recently spotted wearing. We’re sorry…$5,495 Christian Louboutin python skin boots (yes, it matters!).
According to a PETA spokesperson, who mockingly suggested that Kim wear her boots with a Dalmation-fur coat, it’s illegal to sell the thigh-high boots in California, as they’re currently banned. BUT, American Idol judge and pop superstar Jennifer Lopez was also photographed in the same boots — last year! We’re still waiting for PETA to say something about it.
Is calling out Kim Kardashian really going to make a difference? Should the folks at PETA start cutting her a check? What do you think RTVM? Sound off in the Comments section below. We want to hear from you!
