Mary Joyner recently caused tears at her America’s Got Talent audition. Her fate on the reality series remains unknown, but one thing is for certain: the singer’s remarkable performance has launched what will surely be a successful career. Joyner will be sharing her beautiful voice at the U.S. Track and Field trials for the Olympics. How did the singer score this fantastic gig? Read more to find out!
Until last week, Mary Joyner was known merely as the daughter of star athletes Flo Jo and Al Joyner. Now, Joyner is attracting attention in her own right, thanks to a tear-jerker audition broadcast on America’s Got Talent. The judges were clearly blown away by Joyner’s performance, but they were certainly not the only impressed listeners; Joyner appears to have also caught the attention of the Team USA Olympic Track and Field Team.
A representative for Team USA told TMZ that, after hearing Mary Joyner’s voice, they were so impressed that they immediately selected Joyner for the honors of singing the national anthem at the 2012 Olympic trials. The rep also noted, “It’s great to see that Mary is achieving her goals and dreams just as her mother did.”
America’s Got Talent fans have yet to see what will happen when Mary Joyner performs once again in Vegas. If her second performance is as good as the first, she’ll have no trouble making through to the next round. Either way, there’s a bright future ahead for this shining star!
