We all know Gordon Ramsay as the foul-mouthed firebrand on Hell’s Kitchen and MasterChef, but for the past 18 months he’s had a lot more on his mind than cooking and clean kitchens. Personal drama has taken Gordon Ramsay almost to the brink. How did he make it through his ongoing personal drama?
Heavy is the head that wears the crown, or in this case, apron. According to the London rag, “The Mirror,” Gordon Ramsay’s had to fire his own father-in-law Chris Hutcheson, 63, as his company’s chief executive. That’s got to cause a bit of a rift in the family. Chris wrote to his daughter-in-law and Gordon’s wife, Tana, saying: “Until you dispose of that man, you are not welcome back.” Then the lawsuits started including a claim that Chris hacked Gordon’s computer.
Yet through all of this Gordon Ramsay says he’s grown closer to his wife than ever.
“There was no doubt it was a personal blow for me and I felt let down by many people,” Gordon told “The Mirror.” “But you regroup and come back. Tana and I have never been so close before…Tana took this negativity on the chin and just poured it into her work with her new salon opening up.”
Gordon Ramsay won and was awarded a great deal of cash in legal costs after a judge found Chris illegally accessed Gordon’s computers. Turns out that Chris has never been the most honest person. During the course of the lawsuit, it came to light that Chris had other mistresses and families. How a guy can manage more than one family when most of us struggle to maintain one is a mystery. Way to take the guy down, Gordon!
