CBS may have failed to get ABC‘s new reality series The Glass House pulled off the air, but now that the show has finally premiered — and to tepid ratings — was it really worth all the fuss and the MILLIONS of dollars both networks have spent on the legal battle? Which show is better — The Glass House or Big Brother? We’ve got our pick. Where do you stand?
Yes, it’s still early. The second episode of The Glass House hasn’t even aired yet, but already, viewers are making up their minds about ABC’s Big Brother knock-off.
Premiering with an underwhelming 1.6 million viewers (and that’s with The Bachelorette as a lead-in!), so far, The Glass House has failed to impress, and we’re kind of wondering why CBS is still wasting time and money in the courtroom.
Even though the judge has ruled in favor of ABC, Big Brother will likely come out on top in many other ways.
As it stands, CBS is going to “aggressively move two steps forward” with their copyright infringement claims against ABC/Disney, as well as the individual suits against the estimated 30 or so former Big Brother producers and other staff members who are now working with The Glass House.
So, while that legal battle is in “limbo”…in the spirit of The Glass House, let’s have a (not so) secret vote to settle this thing once and for all: Is The Glass House better than Big Brother?
