It’s time for some sex ed on tonight’s episode of The Glee Project! The contestants have a “sexy-off” competition during the music video on the Oxygen TV show plus one singer tries to take over the set by directing. Keep reading to find out what happens!
The contenders must embrace their sensual sides and perform “I Wanna Sex You Up” for Naya Rivera, the special guest mentor. She selects Charlie as the winner and he gets a private music lesson with her and a solo part in this week’s music video.
The 12 remaining contestants are Abraham, Ali, Aylin, Blake, Charlie, Lily Mae, Mario, Michael, Nellie, Shanna, Taryn and Tyler. The hopefuls must dance and sing their way onto the Glee set. Most of them haven’t had a lot of professional experience but each week the contestants must learn the lyrics to songs, work on their vocal delivery and learn choreography!
All are vying for the grand prize–a seven episode arc on Glee and they waste no time getting started. The mentors are Robert Ulrich, Zach Woodlee and Nikki Anders.
While embracing their sexuality, Lily Mae says Aylin is her biggest competition; meanwhile Nellie is super nervous to turn up the heat. The contenders are the most excited they’ve been in the competition so far after learning they’re music video is a mash up of “Moves Like Jagger” and “Milkshake.”
While shooting the music video, Charlie’s creativity clashes with the Director, Eric’s professional vision. In true Glee fashion, the contestants break out in song during class and begin a battle of the sexes.
The mentors select Charlie, Tyler and Michael to be in the bottom three and must perform for Ryan Murphy. For their last-chance performances Charlie sings “I Get A Kick Out of You” by Cole Proter made famous by Frank Sinatra, Michael sings “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Tyler sings “Smile” by Charlie Chaplin. Ryan and the rest of the mentors slam Charlie for blowing kisses to Aylin while singing in the recording booth. When Michael sings for Ryan, he forgets the words! Ryan tells him to have more confidence in himself moving forward. Tyler has been very open on the show that he is transgender and is still getting use to things. Ryan says he applauds Tyler’s brave decision but that he isn’t at the level some of the other contestants are at in the competition.
Tyler checks the list and is “Not Called Back” so he leaves the competition.
