Recently, we learned that Bristol Palin‘s new reality show was getting slapped with a lawsuit by none other than Dancing With The Stars alum Kyle Massey and his brother. Despite the lawsuit, the Massey brothers claim they have “no beef” with Bristol or the Palin family. More after the jump…
Bristol Palin’s new show, Life’s a Tripp is being sued by Kyle Massey and his brother Chris, after they claimed that the concept of the show was their idea. According to E!, the brothers, who are suing producers for copyright infringement, fraud and deceit, breach of contract, and a few other things, told them it has nothing to do with Bristol or the Palin family.
“It had nothing to do with Bristol, the Palins,” Chris told the website, while Kyle added: “The Palins are all great people, but that’s irrelevant.” Meanwhile, the Massey brothers’ attorney explained: “It’s a matter of handling business according to the contracts and making sure that we’re being prudent in how we go about that.”
Both Chris and Kyle Massey claim that despite them being cut out of the show’s footage, you can actually hear them in the background, and hear others chatting with them. Has anyone out there watched the show, and noticed that? In any event, Kyle and Chris are seeking compensation, but who knows whether or not they will get it – we’ll have to stay tuned to see how this plays out!
Do you agree with Kyle and Chris Massey? Should they be compensated for their idea? Comment and share your thoughts with us below!
