Carrie Ann Inaba is not your stereotypical cat lady! But the Dancing with the Stars judge does love her feline friends and she’s not afraid to let the world know. In July, Inaba will be presented with the Cats in White Spats Award. What did she do to earn this distinction? Keep reading to find out!
She may describe herself as a “crazy cat lady,” but the work DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba does with rescued animals truly is commendable. Members of the nonprofit organization Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats admire Inaba’s dedication to animal welfare, which is why they decided to present Inaba with the Cats in White Spats Award. This award is given to a celebrity recognized for charity work involving rescued and adopted animals.
Carrie Ann Inaba is certainly deserving of this distinction. Her extensive work with animals includes Crib Cat, a YouTube show in which Inaba introduces viewers to cats in need of homes. Inaba absolutely loves working with Crib Cat and other organizations. While talking about Cats in White Spats, she admitted, “Helping homeless animals is something I just can’t NOT do. I am honored to be a part of this cause and that I am able to help shed light on the need of open hearts, and open homes, for these helpless loving animals.”
We think this is a purrfect attitude! Hopefully, Inaba’s hard work will inspire others to lend a hand (or paw) to animals in need.
