Popular sportscaster Erin Andrews has been fixture at ESPN for years, but she is now leaving the network to pursue other opportunities. These opportunities, however, probably do not include a return to Dancing with the Stars for the show’s upcoming all-star season. So, if not DWTS, where will Erin Andrews be going? Keep reading to find out!
Erin Andrews’ career at ESPN is drawing to a close. According to ESPN public relations representatives Josh Krulewitz, Mike Soltys and Mike Humes, Andrews left on good terms, despite having refused an “aggressive offer.”
It’s hard to say what Andrews’ motive was for leaving ESPN. She may just be interested in exploring other opportunities. The rumor mill is currently suggesting that Andrews may be moving on to FOX Sports, although FOX has declined to comment on whether there is any truth to this. Andrews’ rep is also keeping quiet, saying, “We are not in a position to discuss Erin’s next career move.”
Erin Andrews will most likely not be returning to Dancing with the Stars as an all-star contestant. The show tends to draw celebs from ABC and its sister networks (including ESPN). Since Andrews has recently left ESPN, ABC isn’t likely to offer her a return spot on the show. And even if the network did ask her to return, who knows if Andrews would take them up on the offer?
