A mother will always do what’s best for a child, even when the action needs to be extreme. Katie Holmes does NOT want Suri to be involved with the Church of Scientology and Tom Cruise is a big supporter of the church. So what church practice is the “So You Think You Can Dance” star most concerned about?
According to TMZ, the Church of Scientology has an interrogation practice that Katie Holmes absolutely does not want Suri to participate in. In 2005, when Katie and Tom Cruise first started dating, Katie witnessed Tom’s other children undergoing this interrogation called “sec checking.”
According to sources, this process requires the child to hold electrode handles on “e-meter” and then is hit with a series of very personal questions to locate “areas of spiritual distress.” Katie reportedly had no intention of allowing Suri to be subjected to this practice and ultimately chose protecting Suri over Tom.
Sources say that the questions in the interrogation are invasive and damaging to a child. According to TMZ’s source, some of these questions include:
– What has somebody told you not to tell?
– Have you ever decided you did not like some member of your family?
– Have you ever bullied a smaller child?
– Have you ever lied to a teacher?
– Have you ever done something you were very much ashamed of?
– Have you ever refused to obey an order from someone you should obey?
– Have you ever gotten yourself dirty on purpose?
Sounds like Katie may be exiting the relationship just in time. Where do you stand? Team Katie or Team Tom?
