The Voice contestant Chris Mann may not have been the big winner of season 2, (that honor went to Jermaine Paul) but that certainly doesn’t mean he lacks a future in the music industry. Chris Mann is going places, and he proved it recently by signing a record deal. Keep reading for the scoop!
Fans of The Voice will be seeing a lot more of Chris Mann in the future! The classically trained singer just signed a record deal with Faircraft, the new brainchild of Universal Republic producer Ron Fair. Mann’s debut album should be hitting the shelves this fall. Chris Mann devotees will surely be clamoring for a copy of the new record.
Universal Republic is certainly excited to have Chris Mann on board. CEO Monte Lipman has nothing but words of praise for the talented singer: ”Chris Mann’s talent is undeniable. He proved to be a shining star on The Voice, and it’s exciting to see this dynamic performer continue to grow.”
Chris Mann continues to update fans on the record’s progress with the help of his Twitter account. Yesterday, he tweeted to followers about his adventures in the studio. “In studio with @bleutopia and @walterafanasieff making my new record! Woo hoo!” He then added an Instagram shot in which he and Bleutopia were hard at work creating “sweet jams.”
