Being one of Caroline Manzo’s children isn’t always easy. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is known for being overbearing and protective of her three kids. That is why her son, Albie Manzo, was so nervous about introducing his new cheerleader girlfriend, Lindsey Andrews, to his mother. Read on to find out more.
Albie Manzo wasn’t the only family member who was stressed about introducing his girlfriend to his mother. His two siblings felt pretty nervous about the situation as well. “I don’t want to love another girlfriend of yours and then see it not work out,” Lauren Manzo told her brother. His younger brother, Chris, added, “My mom is pretty easy to read so if she’s disappointed I’ll be the first to know.”
But much to their surprise, Caroline Manzo seemed to approve of Albie Manzo’s new girlfriend. “You see this little girl in the corner and immediately I know it’s Lindsey. I know my son’s type,” Caroline said. “She’s sweet…she’s also a cheerleader. Rah rah!”
Albie wasn’t completely out of the woods, however. Caroline had some concerns about Albie’s life-work balance. “She’s a very sweet girl, but Albie’s not built like that. He needs a person who will understand that he is very committed to work,” Caroline said. “Girls want to be the priority. I worry because at this point in Albie’s life, he’s not capable of having a relationship. His priority should be work and BLK.”
To us, it seems like Caroline Manzo needs to let go of Albie a little bit and allow him to make his own decisions. He is 26 after all. What do you think? Is Caroline Manzo being too harsh about Albie’s new girlfriend? Should she stop being so overbearing with her children? Share your thoughts with us!
