The Voice on NBC is already gearing up for their new season – wait, didn’t season two just end? Yes, it did, but the new season is quickly approaching, and NBC announced recently that Michael Buble will be joining Blake Shelton’s team for season three. More after the jump!
A country singer and a crooner? Yep, that’s the plan for the new season of The Voice that is set to premiere in September. NBC announced that Michael Buble will be joining Team Blake Shelton as an adviser for the new season. Unlikely pair? Maybe not so much, since Michael Buble recently described himself as a “huge Blake Shelton fan,” so it should be an interesting team to say the least. Michael Buble reportedly started taping his appearances this week, and according to sources, he is “having a blast.” Buble has been known to be very opinionated and he has no problem sharing his opinions – should make for fun television, just imagine if he and Adam Levine were to get into it!
NBC has yet to announce the advisers for the other three mentors, but we are certain they will be leaked out soon. The advisers normally guide the contestants in their choice of songs, and past advisers have consisted of Kelly Clarkson, Jewel, Baby Face, Lionel Richie, and Miranda Lambert, just to name a few! The Voice‘s new season kicks off on September 10, 2012.
Aside from The Voice, Blake Shelton has also been busy as he was recently named ambassador for J.C. Penney’s new JCP Cares campaign – gotta love that Blake Shelton!
