Arie Luyendyk Jr’s Ex Says His Good Boy Image Is An Act

July 12, 2012 07:30 AM by Katya Gordeeva

Now that Arie Luyendyk Jr. has made it to the final two on The Bachelorette, an ex-girlfriend from his past is talking smack about him to Emily Maynard. His ex, Cassie Harshman, even told Emily that his good boy image is just an act and that she shouldn’t pick him. Read on to find out more.

“Arie has dated hundreds of women and travels all over the world,” Cassie Harshman tells Star. “Clearly, he doesn’t need help finding a date or someone to fall in love with.”

Arie Luyendyk Jr. moved in with Cassie Harshman and her two kids soon after they started dating in 2009. “He wasn’t the best father figure to my children,” she told the magazine. “Let’s just say that Arie has some growing up to do himself.”

Cassie also revealed that Arie went on The Bachelorette to gain fame. “He hasn’t raced much since 2008, and I know with certainty that his only motive for going on the show was for the fame and attention,” she says.

Wow, it seems like Arie Luyendyk Jr. might not be the guy we thought he was. Although his ex-girlfriend could just be making up lies because she’s mad at him, it should still make Emily Maynard think twice before picking Arie to be the father to her little girl. It certainly sounds like Arie might not be mature enough to have a family yet.

Do you think what Cassie said about Arie is true? Could he just be a player who isn’t ready to grow up? Or do you think Cassie is just jealous and trying to make trouble for him? Share your thoughts with us!

Well, I think all of the guys on the show have other motivations to be on anyway. Most of the guys are pretty good looking, why would most of them need a TV show to find love? They are all looking for something bigger than just love, Arie is no differant. And if something happened and they did find love? Well, bring on more fame with it.

Yep, Arie’s known as a player – we knew that from the start of the season, so I am sure his ex is telling the truth :)

This is so foolish. There are many singles in their twenties and thirties who date a lot, or are known as players. I’m in my 50′s and would have been perceived the same way. But, when someone meets the right person, they typically settle down and quit playing. Isn’t that fairly normal? Why is everyone judging him for doing what many young singles do?
