On last night’s episode of America’s Got Talent, the acts ranged from amazing to, well, meh. Nerves were definitely present, with several contestants cracking under the pressure. Who did America decide to save? Keep reading for the results!
The contestants had their fair share of flubs last night, which was especially disappointing given the superstar natures of their earlier performances. Will America forgive them for their mishaps? For the first cut, it looks like the answer is no. Mike Price, Cristin Sandu and Jacob Williams all make their way onto the stage. Of those three, only Jacob will continue on. No surprises there; Mike and Cristin messed up big time and Jacob nailed it.
Before learning the next act to get through, the audience gets a special treat: Ashleigh and Pudsey, a girl/dog dancing duo! The two won Britain’s Got Talent, and with their smooth moves and entertaining choreography, it’s easy to see why.
Time for more results! Once again, one act is light years ahead of the others. Inspire the Fire and All Beef Patty were underwhelming while the Lightwire Theater truly wowed the crowd with its amazing puppetry. So, it’s great to hear that Lightwire Theater is moving on. They deserve it.
Next to take the stage: Elusive, the Untouchables and Jake Wesley Rogers. It’s a toss-up as to who will make it through, but Howard notes that each of the three acts is amazing in its own way. Tonight, though, the third spot goes to the Untouchables, so it looks like the Turf vs Elusive dance-off won’t be happening.
Havana Brown is in for a guest performance. She’s okay, but frankly, an Ashleigh and Pudsey encore would have been more entertaining.
The final spot will be determined by the judges. All Wheel Sports, Spenser Horseman and Wordspit And The Illest all arrive on stage looking nervous. Predictably, Spenser is cut first. Now, it’s time for the judges to vote. Howard reinforces his love of Wordspit’s originality with a decisive vote. Howie goes for marketability with All Wheel Sports. And poor Sharon has the deciding vote. She has an awful time choosing but eventually selects All Wheel Sports.
Next week: the final twelve! Several of the most impressive acts are being pitted against each other, which means that, sadly, a lot of amazing performers will be heading home. Be sure to tune in next week for a close competition!
