Sunday night was the night millions of Bachelorette TV fans had been waiting for. Despite all the rumors of a switch up, problems between Emily and her number one pick and Emily not picking anyone at all, America watched as Emily cemented her feelings for Jef and accepted his proposal. After that everyone got to see Emily Maynard’s reunion with Arie on The Bachelorette: After The Final Rose and her public reunion with her soon to be husband Jef. I first fell in love with Emily M. a year ago when she and Brad were introduced to the world of the “Bachelorette” TV fans; have wished for her happiness ever since. Jef H. does seem to be able to fulfill her needs for happiness. It does my heart good to see her with such great smiles on her face and her daughter Ricki’s, too.
A few decades ago, a song was written entitled “This Is My Song”. The lyrics of that song so perfectly match Emily and her family, I hope that someday she can hear them. From a hopeful romantic.
