First American Idol, now America’s Got Talent? Is another judges’ panel about to get a makeover? That’s what Sharon Osbourne has led fans to believe after tweeting to co-star Howard Stern that she’s “not returning” to the NBC reality competition. But is it true, or is this all just a joke? More after the jump.
Is Sharon Osbourne leaving America’s Got Talent?!
The web went cah-razy on Tuesday (July 24) after seeing the following tweet from the brash Brit:
“My darling @HowardStern, money is not the reason I’m not returning to @nbcagt, it’s because…”
The post was in response to a tweet on The Howard Stern Show’s official Twitter page on Monday (July 23), announcing that Stern wasn’t sure if he’d do another season, and that Sharon may not come back “unless she gets more money.”
So, is Osbourne really going, or is this all just a joke, or a publicity stunt to help breakthrough the media’s fixation with American Idol‘s cast shake-up?
Of course, it’s not like it would be a stretch for fans to think that Osbourne is, in fact, ready to close the door on her time on AGT, with her son, Jack’s recent Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis, and a gig on CBS‘ daytime show, The Talk.
We guess we’ll just have to wait for more answers!
