Sharon Osbourne left America’s Got Talent fans in a panic yesterday as she posted a very cryptic Tweet suggesting that she may be leaving the show. After the rumors started to swirl, NBC executives tried to calm fans down, but no one was buying it unless they heard from Sharon herself. Well fans, you can rest assured now – Sharon Osbourne confirmed that she is not leaving America’s Got Talent…for now anyway. More after the jump!
The mystery has been solved – Sharon Osbourne is not leaving America’s Got Talent, at least according to Sharon herself. After much speculation and buzz yesterday after posting some cryptic Tweets suggesting that she may be leaving the show, E! News was able to corner Sharon Osbourne (and Howard Stern) and get the truth from her! “I will be here today, tomorrow,” Sharon Osbourne replied when asked about whether or not she would be leaving the talent competition as a judge.
So why did she post the Tweets then? We can only assume that she was just joking around and having fun with Howard Stern, as the two appeared to keep the jokes going for E! News. “I would never leave you,” Osbourne told Stern during the interview, but then comically added: “That’s why we’re going to CBS to have a late night talk show together.” Stern’s response? “You’re going to stay with AGT. I’m going to American Idol with Mariah Carey.”
So, is she serious or not? According to E!, Sharon is not going anywhere right now, but who knows what the future holds. What do you think RTVM: Is this really Sharon Osbourne’s last season of America’s Got Talent? If so, who do you think should replace her on the judges’ panel? Sound off in the Comments section below.
