Since the release of the Dancing with the Stars all-star cast list, fans and haters alike have been buzzing with the news of Bristol Palin’s return. Bristol’s dancing leaves much to be desired, so the assumption is that the reality star wannabe was invited back solely for the controversy. After all, ABC could certainly use a ratings boost. What did Dancing with the Stars producer Deena Katz have to say about this season’s most controversial contestant? Keep reading to find out!
Love her or hate her, Bristol Palin is back and she’s determined to prove her worth. The list of those doubting Bristol’s dancing abilities continues to grow and it just might include Dancing with the Stars’ very own producer, Deena Katz. Today asked Katz whether having Sarah Palin’s daughter on TV might be a bit polarizing during an election season. Katz’ response? “I don’t know. I wonder about her. I wonder about everyone. These guys were the charm of their season. … Do they all have the effect they have before? It’s not just Bristol. It’s all of them. I’m so curious to see how the audience votes because all of these people were the sparkle of their season.”
Hmm, seems a bit evasive. Bristol may have been the “sparkle” of her season for some viewers, but just as many (if not more) found her presence among the top 3 a bit disconcerting. After all, it’s hard to say who is a worse dancer: Bristol Palin or Kate Gosselin. They were both pretty painful to watch.
