Kelly Rowland’s Wisdom For Demi Lovato and Britney Spears

It’s hard to start a new job, so good advice is always welcome. Kelly Rowland, formerly of Destiny’s Child, was a judge on the UK version of “The X Factor” and has some suggestions for the new judges. What does Kelly Rowland have to say to Britney Spears and Demi Lovato as they get ready to work with Simon Cowell?
Britney Spears and Demi Lovato have already been punching the clock on “The X Factor” for the audition process. But Kelly Rowland warns that the auditions are just the first step in a long process and there’s a lot more work ahead of the superstars.
Kelly told MTV News that she’s “excited for them I’ll let them know it’s a lot of work. It is a lot of work, but it was definitely a great process.” Part of the responsibility is picking a singer out of obscurity to become the next, well, Britney Spears or Demi Lovato.
“You might be running into the next big thing,” Kelly said. “Or, like for Britney, the next big her, or the next big Demi Lovato. I think that’s really exciting for them, and they’ll be a part of that, and they’ll never forget that.”
Kelly also emphasized the responsibility to make wise choices for the contestants, otherwise face the wrath of Simon. Take it one day at a time. It’s a lot of work, but it’s a lot of fun,” she said. “Choose the right songs and songs that will make people excited, make them feel something … you have to touch people’s hearts”
“It is a lot of responsibility, and when you screw up or if you screw up, then everybody blames you,” she said. “Simon included.”
