Former Dancing with the Stars
atrocity contestant Kate Gosselin may not have won the golden ticket needed to join the all-star cast, but she’s still excited for the new season! Gosselin announced on her blog that she will cheer for Pamela Anderson. Check out her reasoning — it actually kinda makes sense!
Dancing with the Stars only has room for one completely incompetent dancer at a time. Bristol Palin took the job, leaving Kate Gosselin cheering on the sidelines. You’d think that the two might bond over their lack of coordination, but Gosselin isn’t planning on voting for Palin….she’s already joined Team Pamela!
The former Kate Plus 8 star mentioned the all-star season in her couponing blog. She supposedly isn’t too bummed about not making the cast, saying that the show just wasn’t “her.” We suspect otherwise, given Gosselin’s continued griping about the cost of childcare and her need for a decent-paying gig.
Gosselin’s reason for supporting Pamela Anderson is, surprisingly, pretty understandable. The two reality figures were contestants during the same season of Dancing with the Stars, and it seems they bonded over their lack of dancing ability (well, Anderson wasn’t that bad).
Another reason to root for Anderson? Everyone loves an underdog. According to Gosselin, Anderson is “braver than brave” for returning to the dance competition, as she was the only one of the all-star contestants not to make it to her original season’s finale.
Pamela Anderson’s dancing skills may rank above those of Bristol Palin, but most DWTS fans aren’t confident in the ability of either woman to take home the mirror ball trophy. Gosselin is the exception. She rounded out her blog post full of confidence for her fave all-star contestant, claiming that, although Anderson has the blocks stacked against her, she’ll still be able to “block it out and conquer it.”
