Former Toddlers and Tiaras star Alana Thompson (better known as Honey Boo Boo Child) is starring in a brand new show! The premiere of TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo aired the other day, inciting both fanfare and disgust. In an effort to promote the new show (or maybe just to scare away viewers) Honey Boo Boo made an appearance on Extra! Check out her new catchphrase!
Interviewing pageant star Honey Boo Boo can’t be that difficult, can it? Think again! Extra wound up with a hyped-up handful when it decided to feature a little chat session with one of Toddlers and Tiaras’ most memorable little divas!
You’d think that the best person to give insight on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo would be the star of the show, but when asked for a brief summary, Honey Boo Boo responded, “I don’t know what it’s about!” She later amended that statement with a very concise description: “It’s about a family…and goin’ places.”
The crazy kid’s evasive answers continued when she was asked to name her favorite thing about pageants. Instead of answering, Honey Boo Boo started performing a groovy dance, which she followed up with the exclamation, “This is a good song!” Finally, after what clearly took a great bit of effort from both mom and the interviewer, Honey Boo Boo comes up with a real answer. “My favorite thing about pageants are going to ‘em and getting to feel like a beauty queen.” But just so viewers wouldn’t get any silly ideas about this being a normal child, Honey Boo Boo randomly burst out a new catchphrase: “You’d better redneckonize!”
We find it completely exhausting just to sit through a short clip of Honey Boo Boo! How are viewers going to survive through a whole season of her antics?
