Finally, we can all move on with our lives now! After what seems like forever, Journey rocker Neal Schon and Tareq Salahi have apparently reached a settlement after the infamous White House gate crasher sued Schon for stealing his
pay check wife, Michaele Salahi of Bravo‘s Real Housewives of D.C.. What was the agreement?
For months Tareq Salahi and his lawyer have been out to get Neal Schon, suing the musician for a whopping $50 million after he ran away with Salahi’s wife, Michaele.
Tareq claims that he suffered emotional stress because of Schon, who also allegedly caused him to lose out on a handful of television deals that he supposedly had in the works; television deals that included Michaele.
Despite the fact that his case was thrown out by a judge not once, but twice, now, it seems that Salahi and Schon have reached some sort of agreement.
According to TMZ, the details of the settlement are being kept hush-hush, but a rep for the band says, “Neal Schon and Journey are very pleased with the resolution of all legal issues and claims involving Mr. Salahi… While a judge previously dismissed Mr. Salahi’s claims on two separate occasions, all matters have now been finally resolved.”
Sources say that Michaele is also “very pleased” to move forward with her divorce from the Virginia winemaker.
And us? We’re very pleased that all the drama is over, and keeping our fingers crossed that it stays that way.
What do you think of Tareq Salahi’s lawsuit against Neal Schon? Does he deserve some form of compensation for being hurt and publicly humiliated, or does it come across as him caring more about money than losing his wife? Sound off in the Comments section below.
