Britney Spears took to Twitter to find something she’d lost quite a long time ago. No, not her sanity or her virginity. She was looking for a long, lost co-star who hadn’t been seen for quite some time and hasn’t turned up on a “where are they now” show. So who, or what, was “The X Factor” judge looking for?
According to “ContactMusic.com,” Britney Spears was interested in tracking down the snake she danced with for her song, “I’m a Slave 4 U,” when she performed at the “MTV Video Music Awards” in 2001 at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City . Snakes live for a long time, so unless it had crawled down a toilet, it had a good chance of turning up.
”Sometimes I wonder what this snake is up to these days … Anybody know where it’s at? haha” Britney Spears tweeted along with a picture of the snake.
Well, ask on Twitter and ye shall find. Britney updated her blog with some new information about the snake.
”Snake update: I’ve heard she’s alive and well, and that her name is Banana! This makes me smile :).” Now who knows if this is really Britney is operating her own Twitter and blog feed or if it’s just her social media director who is really curious as to the whereabouts of the snake. All we know is that it’s only a short wait to finally see Britney back on TV again in “The X Factor” and we’d love to see her break out Banana for a dance for old time’s sake.
