Kris Humphries: Divorce Runs In The Family

August 20, 2012 12:00 PM by Lisa Princ

Kris Humphries has remained adamant that he does not want a divorce from Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian, and instead he is seeking an annulment. Kris has also claimed that divorce goes against his beliefs, but how can that be possible if Kris’ parents are going through a divorce?

Apparently, divorce runs in the family for Kris Humphries! Despite being adamant about not divorcing Kim Kardashian because he feels she defrauded him,  he also claims divorce goes against his religious beliefs. Really? Then, maybe it is time to take a cue from his parents, who are also going through a divorce at the moment.

According to TMZ, Kris’ mom Debra actually filed for divorce from husband William, who made headlines last year when he blasted Kim Kardashian after she announced her plans to divorce Kris. Debra filed for divorce earlier this month. Kris’ parents have two other adult children together: Kris’ older sisters, Krystal and Kaela.

Kris’s father, William Humphries owns several Five Guys Burgers restaurants throughout Minnesota, and he has also claimed in the past that he would love to write a “tell all” book, and get Kris’ story out there. Whether he will or not is yet to be known, but sources say that if he did, it would be Kim Kardashian’s “worst nightmare,” because Kris has told him everything! Yikes!

What do you think about Kris Humphries’ parents getting a divorce? What kind of example are they setting for their son? Sound off below and let us know what you think!
