Tameka Foster To Appeal Custody Decision With Usher

August 27, 2012 10:00 AM by Lisa Princ

We recently learned that Usher was given full custodyof his two sons with Tameka Foster. But after taking one huge blow in losing her other son, Tameka is not taking this one lightly, instead, she plans to appeal the decision.

Usher and Tameka Foster’s custody battle came to an end recently when the hit singer was granted full custody of their two sons, but Tameka is not taking this one lightly. According to TMZ, Tameka Foster is planning to file an appeal in this case, which happened to be a battle that she had no interest in partaking in to begin with.

The couple previously had joint custody of their boys, which Tameka was perfectly content with. “Sadly, I remain in the unfortunate position of having to respond to and attend court proceedings that were not initiated or begun by me. I did not file this custody case and was content with the ‘joint custody’ arrangement that we share,” she told the media earlier this year.

According to TMZ, they claim that Tameka has learned Usher’s attorney’s law firm threw an election fundraiser back in 2008 for the judge who presided over their custody trial, so she feels the ruling was unfair and that the connection could have possibly influenced the ruling.

The part that has Tameka confused is the fact that Usher is always on the road, while she is more stable, so she can’t seem to fathom why he should have full custody of the boys. And the battle continues…
