Dancing with the Stars alum, Hope Solo recently accused Maksim Chmerkovskiy of slapping her during rehearsals in her new book, Solo: A Memoir of Hope. In a recent interview, Solo says that she always speaks her mind, and she does not give a hoot what anyone thinks of her!
Dancing With The Stars‘ alum and soccer star, Hope Solo always seems to be under media scrutiny no matter what she does. Perhaps that could be because she is always making controversial headlines, such as accusing DWTS’ pro, Maksim Chmerkovskiy of slapping her. But you know what? Hope Solo does not care what anyone thinks. In fact, in a recent interview with ESPN, Solo explained: “I have a lot of critics; we all know that. And I do kind of want to say, you know, put my middle finger up to everybody and say, think what you want about me. I am who I am.”
Wow, okay, at least she was honest about it! And that honesty, is what Hope Solo feels is responsible for the media always making her out to be a nasty person: “The moment I gave my opinion was the moment I branded myself as outspoken, selfish. And the media has never looked back.”
So, we have to ask: does stating one’s opinion automatically make them selfish or nasty? What do you think of Hope Solo? We know you have an opinion, and we want to hear it! Comment and share your thoughts with us below!
