Kanye West is proud of his girl and everything she does. Including that little, er — independent film that she made with her ex boyfriend, Ray J. In his new song, “Clique,” the Grammy-winning rapper references the infamous sex tape that helped make Kim Kardashian a household name. But is it touching or tasteless? Either way, somewhere, Kris Jenner is one very happy momager.
Wondering how Kayne West feels about Kim Kardashian getting her start from a sex tape?
Judging by the lyrics of his newest song, it sounds like he’s pretty proud.
In, “Clique,” the first single from his much anticipated album, Cruel Summer, the rapper/producer makes reference to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s recorded romp with ex-boyfriend, Ray J, singing:
“Eat breakfast at Gucci/My girl a superstar all from a home movie”
Home movie? That’s a nice way to put it.
This isn’t the first time that West has rapped about the E! reality princess in one of his songs.
Earlier this year, in the single formerly known as “Theraflu,” he rapped about his relationship with Amber Rose, while knocking Kim’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Kris Humphries.
“The whole industry wanna f**k ya old chick/ Only n***a I got respect for is Wiz/ And I’ll admit I fell in love with Kim/ Around the same time she had fell in love with him…lucky I ain’t have Jay drop him from the team.”
West’s album, Cruel Summer, hits stores September 18th.
