Demi Lovato Regrets Her Twelve Tats

September 09, 2012 12:00 PM by Gina Hall

For most of us that lower back tattoo was a drunken mistake on a Saturday night. Apparently Demi Lovato of “The X Factor” had about twelve drunken mistakes that she’s now regretting now she’s, well, grown up.

Fresh off her win and performance at MTV’s VMAs in Los Angeles, Demi Lovato went on “Live with Kelly and Michael” to discuss her image problem. Demi Lovato is only 20 years old and has already accumulated twelve tattoos all over her body.

Demi has a tattoo of her friend’s lips on the inside of her left forearm.  Demi said that the tattoo “a spur of the moment, stupid decision.” Cause nothing says friends forever like having your friend’s lips permanently visualized on your skin.

Demi has also considered getting the tattoos removed, which can be more painful than actually getting the tattoo.

“I’ve thought about it before because, you know, when I get older I don’t know if I want to have ‘rock and roll’ on my middle finger,” she said. “But I’m young and I can rock it now. When I get older, I can worry about it later.” Yeah, like if you ever have to go get a real job.

Demi also addressed her ever-changing hair color.

“I think this [blonde] is my favorite right now,” Lovato said. “Just because, you know, it’s the color I have right now and I don’t feel like changing it.”

Of course she’s a spur of the moment kind of gal, if a friend can convince her to get a tattoo of lips, then Demi’s hair color might have changed by the time you finish reading this article.

Tattoos are about right now. Unless ink is big and disgusting or satanic, what the hey? This young lady has been thru a lot — she is neither a saint nor a Kennedy. You all’d do better by listening to what she SAYS.

I don’t think she should get the Stay Strong tattoo. She helped save so many lives and she needs that reminder.

Demi, you should love your tattoos. They are a part of you (literally :) lol). You got them for a reason, didn’t you? I love your tattoos. I think they are great. I don’t find anything wrong with them. Love who you are and never change for anyone, because you should be loved for who you are and nothing else.

One drunken tattoo could be called a mistake, but 12 is pathological behavioral problems…sorry Demi!

I would hope that if Demi Lovato wanted to go out and get “a real job”, she wouldn’t be judged based on tattoos.

Welcome to the mindless prime time programming of your children with tattoo super heroes like Kat Von D.

When you make getting tattooed “cool” and “in”, this is what you get.

There are probably more regrettable tattoos then 70 year olds going topless and being happy with the melting scenery.
