Basketball Wives L.A. Recap: New Girls, Same Old Drama

September 10, 2012 06:16 PM by Shayla Perry

There may be some new faces on this season of VH1‘s Basketball Wives L.A., but you’ll definitely recognize the drama. What we thought was over between the rest of the ladies and Mrs. Jackie Christie is only just beginning. And yes, there will be much more bumpin’ of the gums.

This week on the season 2 premiere of Basketball Wives L.A., with her daughter off living in Washington, Jackie is feeling a little lonely and emotional, and hoping to mend her relationship with the other wives.

She’s fully willing to admit that she played a part in all the drama in order to work things out. Meaning, she’s willing to admit that everyone else was jealous of her accomplishments, and that’s why they started everything to begin with. Ahh…growth.

Laura Govan is back in L.A. to handle some business, so she meets with her sister, Gloria, to catch up.

Now back with her husband, Matt Barnes, Gloria is handling some business of her own, working on a new cookbook, and she’s hoping to get the women together to sample some of her recipes…SOME of the women.

Malaysia Pargo is in town as well, visiting with Draya Michele, and the two of them have apparently decided that Jackie isn’t all that bad.

We wonder how they feel after seeing this….

One person who probably doesn’t need Jackie to help them get anywhere in life is Brooke Bailey (for the record, no, she’s not a “wife” either).

Staying true to her word, Malaysia reaches out to Jackie.

Yes, we all know those things usually work out soooo well.

Are you buyin’ the new and improved Jackie Christie? What do you think of Brooke Bailey so far? Sound off in the Comments section below.
