The Voice Recap: Domo Arigato

September 12, 2012 06:55 PM by Shayla Perry

Here we go! Night 3 of The Voice‘s Blind Auditions. After not picking up any artists in last night’s show, Adam Levine has a lot of ground to cover in making up his 16 person team. But this time, it’s Cee Lo Green who’s having trouble sealing the deal with the contestants, until one young lady by the name of Domo, makes his day. What happened?

Tonight on NBC, Samuel Mouton kicked off the Blind Auditions with “Redemption Song,” getting Adam, Cee Lo, and Christina to turn their chairs for the Colorado kid; but it’s Levine, who wins him over.

Former boy bander, Chris Trousdale, is hoping to get back into the game with “Glad You Came.” He doesn’t turn any chairs, but he does get Blake Shelton out of his seat  and moonwalking.

Nigerian born, Nelly’s Echo (LOVE the name) wows the crowd with “Ain’t No Sunshine.” Both Christina and Adam push their buttons for him, but he decides to be a part of Team X-tina.

Mother-daughter duo, 2Steel Girls take to the stage next belting out “Before He Cheats.” Blake and Cee Lo both turn, but they go with… yup, Blake.

After a handful of other losses, Domo, makes Cee Lo’s day, singing the Pussycat Dolls song that he wrote (fun fact), “Don’t Cha.”

Vermont’s Nicole Nelson is the last Blind Audition of the night, with  a stirring rendition of “Hallelujah.” She came into the competition expecting to go with Blake, but it’s Team Adam for Nicole.

What was your favorite performance of the night?
