Kym Johnson Nervous For Dancing With The Stars Premiere

September 23, 2012 04:11 PM by Stephanie Gustafson

She might be an amazing dancer and she might have a talented partner, but Dancing with the Stars pro Kym Johnson is still feeling nervous about the upcoming all-star season. How does the dancer think she and partner Joey Fatone will fare?

With several former winners on the cast, the Dancing with the Stars cast is certainly feeling the pressure! And Kym Johnson is no exception. During a recent red carpet interview with Celebuzz, Kym admitted, ““I’m more nervous this time around than for any other season.” She then added, “But I think that’s because I know everyone is going to be so good. We haven’t seen anyone else’s routines. Everyone is being very secretive in the studios.”

Kym was lucky enough to be partnered with Joey Fatone, a reasonably talented dancer. Unfortunately, that doesn’t count for much when you’re competing against the likes of Shawn Johnson, Gilles Marini and Apolo Ohno! However, Joey does have an advantage in that he really knows how to perform. “He’s a performer, so I definitely feel confident with him as my partner.”

Despite Joey’s talent, Kym worries that he could get cut from the competition early on. And leaving after the first week is her biggest fear. “ I just don’t want to be the first ones to go. That’ll be hard because someone is leaving the first week. So that sucks. It’s quite cruel.”

It’s really a toss-up, but we think that Kym and Joey should be safe for at least the first week. Who do you think will get cut first? Feel free to share your predictions in the comments section below!
