Flipping Out Recap: A New Level Of Crazy

September 25, 2012 08:45 PM by Lisa Princ

Last week on Bravo‘s Flipping Out, things shifted from wedding planning to inappropriate behavior. This week, Andrew really brings the crazy out when more lies become exposed. Will he be given the pink slip?

Flipping Out just seems to be getting crazier and crazier these days, doesn’t it? If you thought last week was insane, this week the crazy was taken to a new level. The insanity began when Jeff decided to throw a birthday bash for Zoila and Zoila had a little too much to drink and began to get a bit too sexy with her dessert for Jeff’s liking.

Of course, in typical Jeff fashion, he made his best attempt to make us all think that he bought her long underwear for her birthday, but Zoila was pleasantly surprised when she arrived home to a brand new Mercedes! She just about fainted, and Jeff, of course, patted himself on the back yet again. Yeah, at this point, I was thinking that maybe I need a new career.

There was some work tonight on Flipping Out, although Jeff and Jenni made it seem like a lot of play! The funniest moment of the night? When Jeff and Jenni decided to drive around in ski masks, asking pedestrians “Where is the nearest seven eleven or bank?” Comically, one person replied and advised them that they could rob the liquor store down the street! Come on, admit it, you know you’ve thought of doing that for fun.

And then things took a strange turn. One word – Andrew. Need I say more? While Andrew was out helping with a client’s home, Jeff, Jenni, Gage and Vanina were comparing stories that Andrew had told them and nothing (and I mean nothing) was adding up. Jeff even took it upon himself to drive to an address given to him by Andrew, only to find out it was a dilapidated home, despite the fact (or supposed fact) that Andrew’s parents had a lot of money.

And where he was staying was not the only lie that he was caught in. Andrew also told each person a different story about what his boyfriend’s job was. When confronted with all the lies that he was telling everyone, Andrew took crazy to a whole new level. He threw down all his things, and ripped Jeff a new one, claiming that Jeff should have spoken to him in private about his issues. So the question remains: is he just a chronic liar, or is there more to this story?

Next week, it looks like Andrew calls up Jeff to meet and talk things over, but Gage has concerns that Andrew will come back with a gun. Could he possibly be that crazy? What do you think Andrew’s issues are? Are you enjoying the new season of Flipping Out? Comment and share your thoughts with us below!

Last night Jeff reached a new level of deranged sadism. Taunting and teasing that poor sick Andrew was disturbing to watch.
Gage always has this “above it all” smirk. He’s there only by virtue of his “romantic” relationship with Jeff and other wise seems to make very little contribution. He can ill afford to adopt that holier than thou attitude.
Andrew is definitely not a candidate for this high powered work and should be mercifully steered on to something else.
Jeff met his match in his client yesterday — a client who gave new meaning to the word bitch!
Jeff has got to reassess his personal relationships and his smarky attitude.

Andrew always makes me feel sad for him, but the lies…….that’s bad. I would be concerned about his mental stability too. However it does not excuse Gage’s nasty snarky behavior all the time. Gage is really not a very nice person. I really do not see the attraction Jeff sees in him, other than his obvious good looks, but his constant state of disapproval for everyone in the office is tiresome and old. Throw gage out the window with poor Andrew. Neither one is worth hanging onto, for totally different reasons.

I love the spark Andrew and Gage add to this show. Its important to have a wide range of people they balance each other out. c.penny

I love to watch Jeff Lewis. He and Jenni have so much fun together. Zoila deals with the OCD that Jeff has, it is so good to watch. Have you thought of bringing Ryan and Chloe to say hello to “uncle” Jeff and Jenni? This would be a good time to show Gage is very jealous.
