Last week on Oxygen’s All The Right Moves, the guys found the perfect theater, and pulled off their big show! This week it was the season finale, and now that the show was over, what would that mean for the future of Shaping Sound?
Last week, the boys pulled off the ultimate in dance shows for all of us to see. Despite a few minor setbacks, the show was amazing and the fans loved it – can you say standing ovation? This week we watched the after party, which was a huge success, but would the guys be presented with any opportunities for Shaping Sound?
That was a huge concern for Kyle, who was not sure how was he was going to survive, especially after learning that Teddy led him on so to speak. For those who may have missed the start of the series, when Kyle was brought on he was under the impression he would be a co-director for the company, not just a dancer. Kyle voiced his concerns to Teddy tonight, and Teddy promised to talk to the guys about it. Of course, it helped that Kyle gave him a guilt trip about Noelle again.
Other opportunities seemed to arise for the guys individually, including a dance show hosting gig for Nick, a couple of choreographing gigs for Nick and Teddy, and a major music video gig for Travis. Travis, however was not sure he wanted to simply choreograph the music video, and decided to try his hand at directing the video (with the advice and words of wisdom from Adam Shankman). However, when Travis brought his solo career to the attention of the guys, Kyle seemed to grow increasingly concerned. On a positive note for Kyle, we did get to see him hook up with a gal from Robert Ulrich’s office.
And then the opportunities began to present themselves for Shaping Sound. It started with Dancing With The Stars, who requested the guy do a piece for their classical week. Then Travis got a call for a meeting in New York with a producer, and Kyle was a bit bummed that he would have to sit it out, since he was only considered a dancer. When Nick, Teddy and Travis met up with the producer, he offered Shaping Sound a 2 year world tour! Can you say score? While it was awesome news, and exactly what the guys had been hoping for, Travis had some concerns about how he was going to have the time to fit everything in his schedule.
Cut to Taja….yeah, she didn’t disappear yet, but after chatting with Jamie, the guys learned that her “pulled over by the cops” incident was nothing more than a lie, so they were left with no trust what-so-ever with her. After making the announcement of their upcoming tour, Travis had another big announcement to make – he was making Kyle a co-director of Shaping Sound. All the guys agreed that Kyle worked hard and deserved it, and it was such a fit ending to the season!
