Katie Holmes is certainly staying strong since her divorce from Tom Cruise, as she recently rocked fashion week, and now we’ve learned that she kept her cool while guest judging on the guest judge of Project Runway. One of the show’s stars recently dished on working with Katie, and how well she held up after the split!
Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief and Project Runway mentor, Joanna Coles recently sat down with Life & Style magazine to dish all about Katie Holmes, and her guest judge appearance on the show. When Katie Holmes was slated to appear for taping on July 2, some folks were worried that she would be a no show, but Joanna says: “An hour after the divorce was announced, her publicist called and just said, ‘I want you to know, Katie is committed to doing the show; she has no intention of letting anybody down.’”
And while everyone was thrilled that Katie did not back out due to the divorce, no one was more excited that the contestants! “They couldn’t believe that we literally had the most wanted woman in the world in the room. I mean, it was an astonishing moment — and she was superb! She looked tremendous, and she took it really seriously. Everybody was very impressed,” Joanna Coles went on to gush.
But, the most important question on everyone’s mind is whether or not Katie Holmes did a good job on as a guest judge on Project Runway? Joanna added of Katie’s critique: “I thought they were spot-on. Katie really knows what she’s talking about. She knew which designers were weak. She knew who’d done a good job that week, and she knew who hadn’t pulled it out — she was tough!”
