Dancing With The Stars Results Recap: It Ain’t No Lie, Baby, Bye Bye Bye

October 02, 2012 07:09 PM by Candace Young

Last night the remaining 12 couples competed on Dancing With The Stars All-Stars with varied outcomes. ‘Dazzler’ Sabrina and her partner Louis Van Amstel topped the leaderboard and Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas were on the bottom. Did America’s votes reflect the judges’ marks? Find out after the jump…

Len Goodman announces that the Dancing With The Stars All-Stars judging panel has selected Sabrina and Louis, who received the first 9 of the competition last night, to perform their routine again. No surprise there as they were incredible last night!

Sabrina and Louis are also the first couple to be told they are safe!

Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke are also in the clear!

Drew Lachey and his partner Anna Trebunskaya, who wound up in the bottom two last week, prove Len’s prediction (that he wouldn’t be ‘bottom two Drew’ tonight) correct – they are coming back next week!

Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson are the first to learn that they are in the bottom this week. They can’t be surprised as the judges weren’t thrilled with the dance last night.

Tom Bergeron announces that next week, two pairs will be eliminated. No one is very happy about this, although it seemed to be expected.

Cher Lloyd takes the stage to perform Want U Back. The show features a circus theme with dancers, jugglers, a strong man, and Cher prancing about in a tutu and black boots. She’s a cutie.

The Dancing With The Stars dance troupe performs with special guests Lacey and Benji Schwimmer. Awesome.

Next, it’s time for more results.

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough are let off the hook first – they’re safe!

Flirty, dirty Kirstie Alley and Maks Chmerkovskiy are also returning next week!

Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy are not safe – they’re in the bottom tonight.

Astoundingly, Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas are not in jeopardy this week.

Katherine Jenkins, Mark Ballas’ partner from last season, and Placido Domingo sing together. Opera isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, including mine, but there’s no denying Katherine’s beauty or talent…this chick’s the whole package!

More results now…

Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd are safe! Guess the man cleavage paid off!

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani are also going to be back next week!

Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff are in the clear too!

Helio Castroneves and Chelsea Hightower join the others in the bottom.

Elimination

One celebrity has reached the end of the road tonight on Dancing With The Stars All-Stars. Is it Joey Fatone, Kelly Monaco, or Helio Castroneves?

The couple who is definitely safe is revealed – it’s Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy!

Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson had the lowest combined score and are leaving tonight.

Do you think the right couple was eliminated?

For anyone bitching that Bristol and Mark survived should read the rules…. VOTING BY THE PUBLIC COUNTS
What you can read from this is that even if they were behind by a minimum of 3.5 points, they got so many votes they were not in jeopardy.
That tells you that there are hundreds of thousands of people who watch DWTS who like them. And vote. Simple.
Yes, Bristol is not the best dancer.
Yes, she is now in jeopardy of being booted off the show next week because the really good dancers will be left.
At this point, its all gravy and they have had their fun and its a damn the torpedoes situation.
She is not taking this so seriously that it would bother either her or Mark to be off show from now on.
Relax people…. its only a TV dancing show.
