Basketball Wives L.A. Recap: “She Done Hurt My Soul”

October 15, 2012 08:28 PM by Shayla Perry

Yes, it’s another week of drama on VH1‘s Basketball Wives, L.A., which also means another week of tears and confusion from…you guessed it–Jackie Christie! Depending on who you ask, she’s the one who provoked the fight (if you can call it that) with Draya, so why is it that Jackie’s crying about how she “done hurt my soul”?! And is anyone planning on going to her wedding, other than Bambi?

This week on Basketball Wives L.A. …

As we saw in the last episode, after Jackie invited all of the girls to her 20,000th wedding, she made one final (we hope) attempt to make amends with Draya, inviting her to go to lunch yet again, in hopes that this time, they could actually get through the meal and settle their differences.

Of course, that invitation was um…declined. And not so politely.

About 19 hoes later, the two were on their feet ready to scrap.

After Jackie was escorted out of the restaurant, Gloria Govan sent her sister and Jackie’s elected BFF, Laura Govan out to check on her.

In tears, Jackie explained that she didn’t want to have to handle the situation that way, and admitted that Draya “done hurt my soul.” (Yes, her exact words…and you can watch the video if you don’t believe us!)

So is everyone being too hard on Jackie, or was the whole fight her fault?

At Bambi’s performance, Jackie asks Laura if she really felt that it was all on her. Of course, Laura gave her a no b.s. answer. To Laura, taking out the lollipop was a bit much, and probably what set Draya off.

Still, Jackie is fully expecting Draya to kiss her left shoe with a tear in her right eye and apologize to her (again, her words, not ours). Don’t hold your breath on that one, Jackie!

Somehow, watching Bambi’s rap made Jackie reminiscent of her mother and the fun times they had together. We’re not sure what she and her mom used to do during their mother-daughter time, but, to each his own. Could it be that Jackie just needs to be the center of attention? That’s what Malaysia thinks…and that’s from someone who started the season being the main one on Team Jackie. Obviously, she’s had enough of defending her!

That crying on a dime thing is what had Laura a little hesitant about accepting Jackie’s request for her to be her maid of honor (seriously, is it just us, or is she trying waaaay too hard to be accepted?!).

You’re not the only one who’s confused, Laura!

Do you agree with Laura? Is Draya in the market for a “big ass whoopin’”?

Then again….

Maybe Laura shouldn’t instigate stuff like that; especially if she’s not really Jackie’s friend, and talking about not going to the wedding. And now Malaysia’s thinking about ditching the nuptials, too!

At this rate, Bambi’s going to be the only one there, besides Jackie and her husband!

What do you think RTVM, is Laura wrong for acting like she’s Jackie’s friend when she really doesn’t like her? Is everyone taking this grudge too far, or is Jackie getting what she deserves? Sound off in the comments section below. We want to hear from you!

Clearly Laura keeps sh..t going & is no better than Jackie. For her to throw gas on the flame of the Jackie & Draya incident is immature & three faced!
Laura may have a bigger problem than Jackie & it’s good Bambi is calling her out on this three facedness! Laura is not even loyal to her own sister ,this girl (Laura) needs help! She is ruining the show with her instigation & backstabbing!

I think they are being very hard and insensitive. I was just saying the other day that she just lost her mother, so of course she is on a emotional roller coaster. Furthermore, where is Jackie’s real friends, because these group of pack wolves, certainly are not, like the girl who was at her pool on the first episode this season. And why the h–l are woman of a certain age making remarks about Jackie’s age as if it is a desease that they will not have soon to come. It is just dumb, everybody ages, if they are lucky. But seriously Jackie, I like you a lot. You should have a show of your own with your real friends. This all seems fake and contrived. Somebody who would give a care that your mother just passed and you are very emotional. My farther died and it took as several years, like 7-10, for our family to only 3/4 come to grips with his passing.

Jackie needs to get friends her own age, she is too old to be hanging with these young ladies. Women her age would probably not bring so much drama. I think Jackie believes she has so much wisdom and wants to pass it along, but if they don’t want her advice she needs “to keep it moving.”

Laura is two-faced witch and she can’t be trusted. Jackie who calls herself a christian is to old to be hanging out with the rest of the girls. Her clothes are weird and ugly and so is her attitude. She curse like a sailor and is so phony.
