After working for CouponCabin as a contributing blogger for less than a year, 37-year-old Kate Gosselin, former star of Jon and Kate Plus 8 and Dancing with the Stars was issued her walking papers. That’s right; the single mom of eight was fired!
According to E! News, CouponCabin’s CEO, Scott Kluth made an announcement Tuesday confirming that Kate is officially no longer employed by CouponCabin. He said, “a series of recent events have made it clear” that Kate’s contributions “do not align with the authenticity that we set out to build almost a decade ago.” And then he added, “Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at CouponCabin,” her “contributions garnered both positive attention and criticism.”
Is it just me or do you also see the hints in Kluth’s statement? Her contributions “do not align with the authenticity that we set out to build” and “Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture.” It sounds like Kate’s been misbehaving and maybe had a few too many tantrums and diva loco moments.
Nonetheless, Kate doesn’t seem too worried about losing her job. “I’m alive! I’ve been super busy working away!” She tweeted on Tuesday. “I’m having lots of fun and can’t wait to share! No worries.. we will chat soon! XO”
What do you think about Kate getting the boot? Do you think she had something else lined up and is working like she said in her tweet? Or do you think she’s dodging everyone’s questions? Leave a comment below and tell us what you think of Kate’s latest drama.
