Last night was the night we were all waiting for with unabated glee…Bristol Palin’s elimination from Dancing with the Stars. While the reality wannabe looked a whole lot better than she did during her first time on DWTS, she was not up to the level of the other dancers. What did dance partner Mark Ballas have to say about last night’s elimination episode?
Few contestants on Dancing with the Stars have been as controversial as Bristol Palin. The first time she was on the show, she managed to make it to the finals, despite being an atrocious battle. This time, Bristol wasn’t quite as lucky. The elimination episode was only surprising in that it actually went the way it should: the two worst dancers were in the bottom two and the weakest link was eliminated.
Mark Ballas has his own theory as to why Bristol Palin didn’t make the cut. And it has absolutely nothing to do with her dancing ability (or lack thereof). According to Mark, things would have been fine and dandy if Bristol had just let him wear that damn bunny costume. “You can drag a horse to water but you can’t make it drink…At the end of the day they have to be comfortable when they walk on stage. But this is an all-star season. All these people have been through the process. We have a lot of champions, a lot of finalists and a lot of people who are really open-minded. Look at Gille Marini’s outfit. That’s called stepping out of the box.”
Yeah, that’s right. Gilles Marini won praise from the judges and remained in the running for the mirror ball because he dressed like Aladdin. Not because he’s a talented dancer.
Are you happy to see Bristol go home, or did you enjoy watching her progress during her short tenure on the all star season? Leave a comment and let us know!
