As much as we’d like to blame the breakup of The Bachelorette, Emily Maynard and fiancé Jef Holm on the Bachelor curse, that’s just simply not the case. There’s more than meets the eye and we’ve got all the juicy details. Continue reading after the jump.
Multiple sources are saying the demise of Maynard and Holm’s relationship started when she was caught sexting Matt Leinart, quarterback for the Oakland Raiders. Apparently, Emily didn’t see any harm in such behavior, but in all fairness to Holm, that’s enough to make any man jealous and question his relationship.
But the facts show this isn’t Emily’s first public relationship that went south after just a few short months. If you remember, Maynard appeared on season 15 of The Bachelor. She “played” the game and won the heart of Bachelor, Brad Womack. At the final rose ceremony, Maynard accepted Womack’s rose, his proposal, and a $50,000 engagement ring, but just a few short months later, their relationship was over.
After the breakup, Womack admits to problems with bouts of anger. But why was he so angry? Was Maynard flirting and sexting with other men like she did when she was in a relationship with Holm? We may never know.
Although Maynard refers to herself as a hopeless romantic, maybe the problem is that she can’t settle for romancing just one. Maybe the problem boils down to Emily and her inability to settle down. It sounds like a man can’t keep her attention for more than a few months after he commits or pops the question.
Is Maynard on TV trying to find “love” or is she just seeking attention and fame? We know you have an opinion and we’d love to hear it. Post a comment below and tell us all about it!
