Every woman gains weight during pregnancy, it’s just the natural order of things. And rocker, Pink was no exception to the rule. During her pregnancy with daughter, Willow Sage, the Punk’d star packed on a whopping 55 pounds. Keep reading to find out how she lost all the baby weight and slimmed down.
Pink, 33 said it wasn’t hard packing on 55 pounds during her pregnancy with daughter, Willow Sage. And she attributes the weight gain to indulging in some of her favorite sweet treats like candy and desserts. She told Shape, “I ate a lot of cheesecake during those nine months. Also anything sour, Sour skittles, South Patch Kids, Key Lime Pie,” and the list goes on and on.
We all know that weight is easy to put on but extremely hard to get back off. So how did Pink lose the weight?
She said she was able to drop the pounds by sticking to a consistent workout regimen that included 1-hour of cardio and 1-hour of strength training or yoga. Pink also said she ate a mostly vegetarian diet but added chicken and fish to the mix periodically. In an interview with People, Pink admitted losing the weight wasn’t so easy. “I’m an athlete so I have to be strong. It was hard work.”
Pink rocks a slender, muscular body on the cover of Shape Magazine’s November edition wearing nothing but a pair of black panties, a bra, and a see through cover that she hikes up to expose rock-hard abs.
