Well, you missed out on “The X Factor” last weekend due to some boring ol’ baseball game, but now we get to see who gets to stay for the live shows and who will be sent home! Are you rooting for anyone yet? There’s some amazing talent, but one act will be crowned the winner. Who will Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and LA Reid put in the live show? Let’s see how it went down!
Demi Lovato’s group is up first. Jenelle Garcia has really played up the sexy thing for the judges. Demi tells Jennel she has an incredible voice but her concern is that Jennel is insecure with her performances. She decides to keep her. Next up is Willie Jones. He talks about how heart broken he’ll be if he doesn’t get to the next stage. Demi worries because his voice goes between country and rhythm and blues. Demi tells him that he is unexpected, but he is risk because of his inner demons. She keeps him in her final four. Next is Nick Youngerman. Demi tells him that he is fun to watch and has the ability to get everybody on their feet. Despite that, Demi tells him that the bar has been set really high and she decides to send Nick home. Paige Thomas is up next. Demi tells her that she is a star, but they need to see her grow. Paige made some risky moves and has crumbled under the pressure. She starts crying with Demi and tells her how much she thinks she deserves this and she feels she can be a good mom at the same time. Demi decides to keep her.
The final spot will go to Cece Frey and Jillian Jensen. Demi tells Jillian that she is so extremely talented. She tells Cece that she told her it was going to be difficult to find balance between fire and attitude. Demi feels the CeCe took her direction and Demi decides to keep Cece and sends Jillian home.
Now it’s Simon Cowell’s turn to pick his final four for the Groups category. Simon has six acts that remain including Sister C, Dope Crisis, Playback, Lylas, Lyric 145 and Emblem3. He’s chosen to keep Lyric 145. He loves that they leave everything on the stage and can compete even though they haven’t been together for very long. He will send Dope Crisis home because he can’t figure out where to place them in the market. Emblem3 is next and they messed up their last performance. They lost the words which is bad. But Simon is a fan, but he’s concerned that he hasn’t seen their best and they don’t rehearse enough. Simon likes winners and he believes that Emblem 3 are winners, so Simon has decided to keep them on.
