October 27, 2012 01:08 PM by Donna W. Martin

Punk’d star, Justin Timberlake and new bride, Jessica Biel are away on their honeymoon at a top-secret location. But news of a wedding video mocking homeless people being shown at his wedding was still able to make its way to Timberlake. And he’s not happy about it. Take the jump to find out what Timberlake had to say about the homeless video.

According to People, when Justin Timberlake heard the news of a video mocking homeless people being shown at his wedding, he took to Twitter and posted an open letter addressed to his family, friends, and fans.

Timberlake said, “I can’t fight the urge to clarify my thoughts and feelings on what has been a very upsetting portrayal of the people closest to me and myself. It’s not who I am as a professional or as a man.”

Timberlake went on to say, “I’d like to start off by saying that I don’t live my life making fun of people (unless, of course, I’m making fun of myself on SNL).” He adds, “Especially, those who are less fortunate or those in need. I grew up with a family and community that instilled ideals in me like hard work, honesty, and empathy.”

As it pertains to the video, Justin called it “silly” and “unsavory” but said that it was intended as a joke and was in no way intended to mock anyone. “I had no knowledge of its existence. I had absolutely ZERO contribution to it,” he states in the open letter. “My friends are good people,” and just had a “lapse in judgment.”

Timberlake also addressed rumors that the homeless video was shown during his wedding saying, “It was NOT shown at my wedding.”

In closing, Timberlake said, “I want to say that, on behalf of my friends, family, and associative knuckleheads, I am deeply sorry to anyone who was offended by the video.” And then added a special P.S. aimed directly at Justin Huchel, the friend responsible for producing the video, “You can bet your *ss that I’m having my friend do at least 100 hours of community service… Boom.”
