According to People, Inaba says she’s ready to be a mom. “I really do want to have a child so I’m putting my energies towards that.”
Inaba has ended her relationship with fiancé, Jesse Sloan but that hasn’t dampened her desire to become a mother. She has been seeing a fertility specialist every month and has gotten a good bill of health at every checkup. Inaba says that although in vitro fertilization is not something she is currently pursuing; she plans to keep her options open. She explains, “I’m hoping that it happens the old-fashioned way, but I’m not opposed to trying new things.”
At 44, Inaba realizes her biological clock is ticking and time isn’t on her side. “My body is my timeline,” she said. “That doesn’t mean that there can’t be hope and there can’t be a miracle.” She explains, “A lot of miracles have happened in my life so I continue to believe in them. It only takes one egg!”
Inaba remains optimistic and says she hopes to fall in love again, “maybe soon.” “I feel like I’m ready for a lot of wonderful things in my life to happen.” She continues, “I have enough love to give and I feel confident enough in who I am that I can give that love.”
Although Inaba said she is currently single, she also said she remains close to ex fiancé, Jesse Sloan and his teenage daughter, Kristin. If they’re still close, maybe a reconciliation is possible.
