Kirstie Alley Reveals That John Travolta Was The Love Her Life

November 05, 2012 09:01 AM by Martha Zaborowski

Dancing with the Stars contestant Kirstie Alley was recently interviewed by Barbara Walters on 20/20, and she gave a shocking admission: Kirstie claims her Look Who’s Talking co-star, John Travolta, was the love of her life! Did Kirstie consummate her feelings for John?

In the interview airing on Friday, November 9, Kirstie tells Barbara Walters ”it took all the power I had” not to run off with John. Kirstie was married to ex-husband Parker Stevenson while filming Look Who’s Talking with John. She claims she was close to hooking up with John; but in the end, they never had a sexual relationship. They are still close friends today.

While filming Look Who’s Talking sequels, John eventually married Kelly Preston, who he is still married to today. It’s not certain whether John had similar feelings for Kirstie, but their chemistry was undeniable in the Look Who’s Talking movies. Maybe they had a lot in common (including a shared devotion to Scientology), maybe it was a sexual attraction–but they definitely lit up the screen as a couple in love. It seems a little suspect that Kirstie is confessing such romantic feelings while John is still married, however.

Why do you think Kirstie is admitting that John Travolta was the love of her life now? Does she still have feelings for him? Is she trying to give Scientology some good publicity? Is she trying the combat the rumors about his sexuality?
