After a fairytale wedding at the Borgo Egnaza resort in southern Italy, Punk’d stars, Justin Timberlake and new bride, Jessica Biel embarked on an adventurous honeymoon. Where did the couple end up? Take the jump to get the details.
According to E! News, the couple stayed in Italy for two days before departing for their honeymoon. The Timberlake-Biel duo took a private plane from the Kilimanjaro International Airport and then helicopter to the “private reserve of Singita Grumeti in Serengeti Park.” That’s right, of all the places in the world, the couple chose to spend their honeymoon on safari in the wilds of Tanzania, Africa.
While in Africa, Timberlake-Biel went on several day excursions to take an intimate look at wildlife and the breathtaking views. But they wanted more. They wanted to experience their surroundings totally, so they took a ride in a hot air balloon to get the aerial views. Five days later, the couple moved to the luxury Faru-Faru lodges for a romantic three-night stay before heading back to the Kilimanjaro Airport and on to finish their honeymoon.
This wasn’t Biel’s first visit to Tanzania. Her initial visit was in 2010 where she participated in a charity campaign climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to heighten awareness to the global clean water crisis.
But now, it’s back to reality and home for the Timberlake-Biel duo. With a new film, Hitchcock set to premiere on November 20, Jessica Biel is scheduled to be in New York attending to the final details before hitting the red carpet.
What do you think of Timberlake and Biel’s honeymoon destination choice? Are you surprised they chose to go on safari in Africa? Post a comment and tell us what you think.
