The competition is heating up on “The X Factor.” Who will Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, LA Reid and Demi Lovato love and who will they be sending home? And will Khloe Kardashian suffer another wardrobe malfunction or and when will Mario Lopez make an A.C. Slater reference that none of these teens will get? Let’s check out what happens on “The X Factor!”
The show starts with Simon Cowell announcing that Diamond White will a return to the show and we will have a Top 13. The theme this week is “Song from the Movies.” Here are the highlights.
First up is Arin Ray from the Teens with “American Boy” by Estelle. It’s a good song choice. L.A. said he is a different person. Demi said she is speechless. Simon says he’s turning into a pop star. Britney said he rocked it.
Next up is Paige Thomas from the Young Adults with “Take My Breath Away” by Berlin. She comes in from the ceiling. L.A. says he was not blown away. Britney says it was shocking. Simon says it needed to go somewhere. Demi says she did amazing.
Vino Alan is with the over 25 and he takes on “When A Man Loves A Woman” by Percy Sledge. Britney says the performance demonstrated his vocals. Demi says it had heart and soul. Simon says he went from zero to hero. L.A. says he nailed it.
Emblem3 is up for the groups with “My Girl”/”California Gurls” Medley. L.A. says they were perfect but that he doesn’t care for that. Britney says she was blown away. Demi says they were good. Simon says it was clever.
Beatrice Miller goes on stage for the Teens and takes on “Iris” by The Goo Goo Dolls. L.A. says her voice sounds like a hit record. Demi says she could connect with her. Simon says it was a better performance. Britney says she is really special.
Jenell Garcia shows up for the Young Adults with “I Love Rock and Roll” by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. L.A. said it was good, but it was Joan Jett-lite. Britney says it was hot. Simon said he doesn’t like what Demi has done with her. Demi says she did well.
Tate Stevens goes up for the over 25s with “Wanted Dead or Alive” by Bon Jovi. Britney says he is a cowboy. Simon says it feels like he’s back in this competition. L.A. says he did really well.
Lyric 145 is up for groups and goes with the odd choice of “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins. L.A. says he hates it, but it is inventive. Britney says it’s very entertaining. Demi says they nailed it. Simon says they were bloody fantastic.
Jason Brock takes the stage for the Over 25s with “I Believe I Can Fly” by R Kelly. Britney says it is an improvement, but is feels like a Vegas lounge act. Simon says he doesn’t think he can fly.
Fifth Harmony is the last one up for groups with “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri. L.A. says he is impressed and they nailed it. Britney said they shined. Demi loves their vocals. Simon says there is something special about them.
