On the heels of her recent lawsuit, Britney Spears is looking for a way to move forward. The once troubled starlet has confirmed through a rep that she is in talks with It Books to pen a novel. The X Factor star has already written two books: Heart to Heart, in 2000, which went over her controversial rise to fame, and Mother’s Gift, a children’s fiction book, penned in 2001 about a poor girl from Mississippi who ends up attending a performing arts school. So what will this book be about?
We’re all hoping it’s not another kids book. It Books describes itself as “Publishing exceptional books in entertainment, music, fashion, design, art, celebrity, pop culture and sports.” With that description, we’re thinking it may delve more into the Britney Spears of yesteryear-the one that continually graced headlines. Britney has racked up a host of media frenzy inducing events. From dating Justin Timberlake, tying the knot twice-one marriage lasting only 55 hours, to the shaving of her head…Britney has really been through the wringer. It seems like not too long ago she was still under the care of Sam Lutfi and being wheeled out on a stretcher.
Thankfully, being under the careful conservatorship of her father, Britney has flourished. She’s literally made a u turn and is once again making headlines-but for positive reasons; and we’re all proud of her! We love her on the X Factor and look forward to what she has in store for us!
Her book will likely join the ranks of reality stars such as Kate Gosselin, Snooki, and Paris Hilton. These reality stars, along with others, have released tell-all books that give a different view on not only their personalities, but at their lives behind closed doors.
Will you be reading Britney’s book? Do you think it will explain what really happened to Britney during those troubled years? Let us know in the comments below!
