Are you missing our usual Fall season of The Biggest Loser? Yeah, we are too, but luckily we’ve got some exciting news for you. NBC has announced that not only will our beloved Jillian Michaels be returning, but the show will also kick off the in January with a two night premiere. Check out the sneak peek of season 14, called Challenge America inside!
The Biggest Loser is set to return this January for a two night premiere on both the 6th and 7th at 8 p.m. EST. This season, the show was looking for “more appreciative” contestants, and also decided to add some teens into the mix. Jillian Michaels will return, and Dolvett Quince will remain on the show, along with Bob Harper.
NBC says that contestants will be divided into three teams in season 14 – supervised by trainers Harper, Michaels and Quince. Each trainer/team will be paired with at least one child participant (age 13-17) who will compete with and contribute to their respective teams, but the kids will not be eligible for elimination. They will work at both the ranch and at home, and their progress will be featured in every episode. We can only guess that means they won’t be eligible for the prize money either.
NBC also revealed a brand new preview of the new season – check it out below:
