When you think of Taylor Swift’s music, what initially comes to mind? Sappy lyrics? Country vibe? We’re willing to bet you don’t typically associate the singer and Punk’d star with the catchy beat that dominates dubstep. Taylor Swift had a great showing at the American Music Awards, taking home the prize for country female artist. During her acceptance speech, the singer told the audience, “I’m stoked….I’m really, really happy right now and that’s all because of you.”

Despite the presence of a dubstep beat, Taylor began her performance with the usual good girl vibe, decked out in a modest white dress. The presence of masked men suggested that something a bit more scandalous might be on the way, a foreshadowing that came to fruition when Taylor ripped off her white dress to reveal a red corset and black tulle skirt, complete with fishnet tights. She then got her dominatrix on, kicking the masked men to the ground and tossing her hair in what we can only guess was an attempt at head banging. It all seemed a bit awkward coming from the usually sweet country star.
We’ll let you judge the new Taylor Swift for yourself. Check out the following video and then share your reaction below!
