Karen Zolciak, mother of Kim Zolciak of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, recently filed papers suing Kim for visitation rights to see her granddaughters. Kim’s daughters responded with sworn affidavits that they had grown apart from their grandmother and had no desire to see her. Kim then asked the judge to throw out the case AND for Karen to pay her legal fees. Somehow this family feud just uglier: what is Kim’s father saying about his daughter?
Joe Zolciak is calling Kim Zolciak “a pathological liar.” In response to court docs in which Kim calls her parents disrespectful and bad grandparents, Joe tells TMZ: “I will not tolerate her trying to make a mockery of my wife or our family any further. We are completely humiliated by all the lies she has put in the media.” He continues, “She has been married twice and has three different fathers of her four children. Let’s face the facts.”
Kim has heard similar criticism about her lifestyle choices from cast mate NeNe Leakes, but it must be completely chilling for her to read her own father saying these things about her in the media. Joe must have deservedly ticked off when Kim tried to make her mother and father pay her court fees, but how has this family feud become so nasty? Did it really start with the Kim’s wedding drama on Bravo with her mother?
If Joe and Karen Zolciak really want visitation rights, how will such ugly criticism about their daughter motivate granddaughters Ariana and Brielle to see them? Do you think the Zolciak family can ever be repaired?
Kim Zolciak responds on Twitter!
